Multilobal

Descriptive of a fibre or filament whose cross-section resembles a polygon but has concave sides and rounded vertices (lobes).

Note: The prefixes tri- (3), penta- (5), hexa- (6), octa- (8), etc., are used with the suffix -lobal to indicate the number of lobes.
