Tape (textile)

(1) A woven narrow fabric, generally plain-weave, used in non-loadbearing applications and the reinforcing of fabrics to resist wear and deformation.

(2) A long narrow flat structure with textile-like properties made from thermoplastic polymer, paper, or other appropriate material.
