A new fiber created from the wood pulp of specially selected trees, processed in a non-chemical, environmentally-safe way. Tencel was introduced to the world of apparel in 1992 and is the first new fibre introduction in over thirty years. The characteristics of the fiber are a subtle luster, high-wash stability, extremely low shrinkage, and good tear resistance.
