An anionic dye characterized by substantivity for protein and polyamide fibres and usually applied from an acidic or neutral dyebath.

A dye which is applied to fabric or fiber from an acid dye solutions. It can be used on nylon, wool and other animal protein fibers, silk, acrylic, polypropylene and blends. It is fairly colorfast to light and laundering
