Excretion from sweat glands of sheep, which is deposited on wool fibres.

Generally referred to as the perspiration of sheep and is naturally excreted from the glands at the roots of the woo.. Suint consists of soapy compunds of potash and fatty acids, together with a little free fatty acid and saline matter. It is soluble in water. This is one part of what is called the grease on an unwashed fleece.
